It is a really cool spot, lots of peaceful energy there, it is about a 20 minute drive from my house on the side of the highway, overlooking the beach and the sea.

Some lovely shots on the way home tonight, just before a pretty heavy burst of extreme weather hit the coast. I think my iPhone caught it pretty well…

A partial seascape with an angled view of a bench on a brown coloured pavement. Stormy clouds are in the foreground of the sky, while the background sky shows clouds lit by sunlight. A rainbow appears over the sea in the middle of the picture, with another another partial rainbow forming to the left of it. Both rainbows are contrasted against the dark stormy clouds behind them. The bottom left of the picture shows a pair of yellow parking lines skirting the edge of the photograph. The scene is quite desolate, but simultaneously very atmospheric. The footpath is separated from the sea by a section of low stone seawall, which (like the pavement) angles off in perspective to the left of the picture.

Kids and grownups filled their water balloons and water guns yesterday, and have packets of colored powder ready to ambush friends, neighbors and strangers.
