The #EPA needs its mission statement replaced. It was made to stop the visable #pollution, the visable ecosystem destruction, superfund site and protection of #endangered species.
It wasn't designed with climate change or racial equity in mind at all.
#Climatechange requires a way to override nimbys to streamline one time building of #transit., dense infrastructure and renewable power grids.
At the moment the EPA is set up so it can be used as a weapon to stop anything needed to fight Climate change in terms of infrastructure building.
There needs to be an option for the EPA to weigh damage of building over damage caused by Climate change from not building it.
There also needs to be mechanisms so that BiPOC have the same tools as nimbys currently have and will have in the future to ensure they aren't undualy taken advantage of like they always have been.

@heiseonline Ich bin gespannt. Oldies wie ich mit der freiwilligen #ePA von Anfang an (für den Ticker eingerichtet und danach PDF-Schwachstelle gefunden) sind gespannt, wie der Widerspruch gegen die Nutzung von Gesundheitsdaten innerhalb der ePA dann funktioniert.

Auch wenn es schon viel Streit darüber gab: K1 (so heißt das wohl in social media) ist Arzt in einem Krankenhaus und findet meine Haltung trottelig bzw von "vorvorgestern".

Die #ePA kommt am 29.4. bundesweit, weil Karl Lauterbach das jetzt als sicher erklärt hat. "Es konnten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen umgesetzt werden"

Und weil das bestimmt alles total fluffig im Praxisalltag in alle PVS angebunden sein wird, wird das für die Leistungserbringerinstitutionen am 1.10. verpflichtend.

Aus dem Papier geht nicht hervor, ob nur den Leistungserbringern – also Arztpraxen, Krankenhäuser oder Apotheken – Sanktionen drohen oder auch den Versicherten.“ 🙄🤦‍♂️
