By the way, anybody knows about nut configuration ? I'm trying to get logs for UPS events. In /etc/nut/upsmon.conf I have the following... and to my understanding, it should work as is and log events in syslog.

NOTIFYFLAG ONLINE SYSLOG+WALL
NOTIFYFLAG ONBATT SYSLOG+WALL
NOTIFYFLAG LOWBATT SYSLOG+WALL

Except it doesn't. Nothing in /var/log/messages, daemon.log or else...

Any idea?

This morning I decided to test my UPS device. I want it to supply energy to a Raspberry Pi on which I have a weather station.

I test ... the UPS works great... except I realize that my Fortigate is not plugged on the UPS, so if I lose power, I lose Ethernet and my Pi is no longer able to communicate with the internal weather station service.

Conclusion : always test your UPS configuration :)
