I can't really tell from their cries of desperation. Or is that just how cats always sound first thing in the morning?

And coffee. for whatever reason thinking about some Amtrak train trip I did in 2020. Across the US in almost both directions. The best was from Florida to new York. New York to Chicago and then across to Seattle. All in a sleeper. Originally I was to go to Egypt and Morocco and Turkey and end in Dubai to see a friend. That changed and I ended in Vietnam. For almost 2 years. Wonderful times really. 2020 was going around Vietnam even with the lockdown. Then Vietnam was an island of safety. So all the little bits and bytes. This place and that. Somehow ending in San Francisco before I flew to Hanoi. This and that memory all crowd together. Coffee is responsible.
