The coder of our former Amiga game dev team has fed an old Polaroid picture of us to ChatGPT's image generator.

The first one shows the now almost obligatory Studio Ghibli style, and the second one is how we'll probably look when we're 75.

I made a fun little idea in Godot. This is about Rynne moving into Lowtown and taking over. The idea is you have a party - as many as you want - but Rynne only gets a certain number of commands per round.

Each character can respond to one or two command types. Gear changes how.

Things you do for #Atari2600 #GameDev that you do nowhere else: COUNT CYCLES.

The pictured code being developed on the #Apple2 using a Frob, implements the 6 digit score display by utilizing the unique VDEL registers for players which allowed you to get enough time to write 6 different player images very close together.

This is important because there is only 76 cycles on a scanline, and you're changing things as the raster sweeps.

Here's what a couple years away from a project will do to a girl. First I do a run through this area under the old version, and then a second run on the new version. I think the changes speak for themselves
