Since Deuce added Atari ST/VT52 support to SyncTerm, I've been revisiting several ST BBS door games. I was particularly taken by DDST (as in "D&D").

It's a pretty good adventure game and it uses VT52 colors effectively, particularly a screen-flashing effect. It can be frustrating, but you *can* make progress, and it has good features you don't often see in door games (like "Save"!).

Well, this morning I finally beat it!

We don't know how we can repay you for your accomplishnent, but we will remember you in great esteem at the Lord's Keep in Isengard.' "I smiled back at him and told him that I would not except any money as I was as glad as he was to be rid of the Evil Demon. "'What happened to Asmodeus? I don't think I really could kill a being with such great strength?'"

The sysop of DarkForce BBS customized his board today for April Fools' Day. Telnet to darkforce-bbs.dyndns.org:1040 to check it out!

It's an Atari ST BBS, so I recommend using SyncTerm's new VT52 mode for an authentic experience.

I see a number of recent Roland MT-32 clone projects out there, built using Raspberry Pi and the like. I don't see any that are being sold, pre-assembled.

The BulkyMIDI-32 looks great, but I don't think it's being sold, assembled.

If such things are on offer, can someone point me to a decent unit?
