Hi all!
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the interaction between #mastodon and #pixelfed especially following the common login procedure described on this page https://pixelfed.blog/p/2023/feature/introducing-sign-in-with-mastodon-streamlining-sign-up-and-login-on-pixelfed which would work fine for me.
What I'd like to do is post my #photos on #pixelfed (logged in via my mastodon account, see link above) and have them appear on my #mastodon feed.

@manup that's not how that works. They're 2 seperate platforms with 2 seperate accounts. If you follow your Pixelfed account with your mastodon account, you can boost your photos, but they won't automatically appear on your mastodon timeline.
@BeAware @WeirdWriter I should have mention that both sides, my accounts were already following each other. I did that quite immediately.
So far I'm getting the opposite result to what I'm looking for!
My posts on mastodon appear in my home feed on pixelfed, while the photo I posted on pixelfed has never appeared in my mastodon feed... 
What do you think about it?
Using the common login process to connect my mastodon account to pixeldfed, the two ones following each other, I can't find the way to see photos posted on the pixelfed side in my mastodon feed.
The opposite works out of the box, but this is not what I need...
Because it doesn't *actually* log you in with Mastodon credentials. It just kind of makes a new account with copied information, so you just made a #PixelFed account, and didn't connect the 2. That's not possible with #ActivityPub and I honestly wish that button or feature was explained more because you aren't the only one making that mistake. I'd say, instead, have PixelFed people follow your Mastodon account and you post pics and stuff on your Mastodon or you tell your Mastodon followers to follow your PixelFed account. @manup
